Scholarships

Limited scholarships are available.  Thanks to our sponsors the conference organizers are able to provide limited scholarships to cover the cost of registration to attend the event.  Applications are due April 7th. Click here for more information.


Registration Details

The symposium registration includes:

  • Access to all plenaries and breakout sessions (May 5, 2017)
  • Access to the reception following the Symposium (May 5, 2017, 5:00-6:30pm)
  • Lunch and refreshment breaks
  • Printed program booklet, a symposium attendee list and a name badge

Payment
Your payment, in full, must accompany your registration. Participants paying by credit card must register using the online registration system. If you are paying by check or Purchase Order, you must contact Alicia Brown (abrown@lgc.org / 916-448-1198 x327) for further instruction. Registrations will not be processed without payment.

Registration Deadlines
The Early Bird registration rates are available through March 31. Regular rates will apply after April 1.

Speaker Registration Details
All speakers and moderators receive a complimentary registration. Symposium organizers will provide the necessary registration details directly to each speaker and moderator via email. Speakers and moderators MUST use the information that we provide them to register for the Symposium through the online registration system.

Speakers and moderators will also be required to provide a brief biography through the online registration system. Speakers and moderators must register by March 31.

Sponsor Registration Details
Some sponsoring organizations, agencies and companies will receive complimentary symposium registration as part of their sponsorship benefits package. If applicable, the Symposium organizers’ main point of contact with each sponsor will receive a unique access link for using any complimentary sponsors registrations. The sponsor’s point of contact will be responsible for deciding who may use the complimentary registrations. Those using complimentary sponsor registrations will need to use the online registration system.

Refund Policies
Refund requests will be honored if received by April 17th. All refunds are subject to a $50 processing fee. Upon approval, refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at the time of registration. Symposium organizers will be notified that a credit adjustment may need to be made to your original registration payment. Please allow 3 business days for any refunds to be credited to the original credit card provided at the time of registration.

After April 17, 2017 NO REFUNDS will be offered.

Substitutions
Should a participant need to cancel their registration after the April 17th refund deadline (for whatever reason), they may choose to send a substitute in their place. Should you need to cancel and replace yourself with a substitute, you must contact the Symposium organizers via email with the replacement contact information: Alicia Brown at abrown@lgc.org.
